A recent stay in this centrally located gem was an absolute treat! The two-bedroom apartment was stunning—equipped with modern comforts including a Nespresso machine and powerful rain-shower. Check-in was a breeze, but be aware of street noise in the evenings. Perfect for families or groups wanting to explore.

Would definitely recommend for a couple of nights

Cozy room, convenient location, the apartment was ideally situated near bus stops and shops, making it easy for us to explore the city and enjoy local dining without hassle.

Everything was flawless.

The food scene around Vintage is lit! Meze Restaurant’s grilled meats and Public House Gastropub’s local brews had me happy dancing. Plus, the Deluxe Studio was super cozy with a well-equipped kitchen for whipping up some Icelandic-inspired dishes. 🐟🍽️

Just a heads up, the walk from bus stop #6 is a trek with luggage, and I was serenaded by drunk folks outside my window—soundproofing needs a boost!

Communication was difficult as the only option was to a local phone number.

the vintage has a great location right in the heart of everything. it's super easy to get here by the airport express from bus stop 7. the deluxe studio was cozy and comfortable, making it feel like home. plus, it's close to tour bus stop #12 and some lovely pubs with traditional icelandic dishes.

The only downside is the parking situation. dragging luggage a few blocks can be a hassle.

Family with children could really enjoy this

Stayed in a penthouse studio which was right in the downtown area. Super convenient to walk to everything. My kids loved the luxurious feel of the place, especially the great coffee machine loaded with beans. The shower was powerful, and there was more shampoo than I knew what to do with! A bonus when traveling with kids!

Wasn't exactly cheap. but overall still acceptable.

More grab bars in the bathroom would be helpful.

the hotel is just a few steps from Laugavegur, making it super easy to stroll by amazing restaurants and unique shops. It’s a quick walk to the scenic Lake Tjornin for lovely park views where you can relax and unwind. the room was beautifully furnished and spacious enough to feel comfortable after a day of exploring the city. as a single traveler, I appreciated the well-stocked amenities and the helpfulness of the staff with my inquiries, but be aware that there’s no elevator, so prepare for some stairs.

My stay was fabulous! The room was a Superior Apartment, perfectly arranged for comfort with a spacious layout and a heavenly bed that made it hard to leave every morning. Plus, the location was unbeatable—right in the heart of it all, making exploring the local bars and restaurants a breeze!

It was just a suitable option for a weekend excursion in Reykjavik with exceptional value. The mini-kitchen was convenient for quick meals despite lacking a microwave. Make sure to check the keypad instructions beforehand so you aren't stuck outside your room.
